Susan has focused her legal practice in the area of Family Law.
She is a member of several bar associations and has served in many leadership
positions. Susan served as a council member of the Family Law Section of the Missouri Bar Association
from 2002-2003.
Susan is very active in the Family Law Committee of the Kansas City
Metropolitan Bar Association. Susan served as the secretary, vice-chairman, and chairman of the
committee from 1999-2001. Furthermore, she served on the nominatng committee of the Eastern Jackson
County Bar Association in 1998.
Susan is one of the founding members of the Collaborative Family Law Institute
of Missouri. She has engaged in extensive collaborative law training in her affiliation with the Institute.
Furthermore, Susan is a trained mediator.
Susan resides with her husband, Ted, in Lee's Summit. Susan and
Ted have two children, Nicholas and Sarah.
