School Law Practice Group
Our firm has represented school districts in the State of Missouri for over thirty years. During that time,
the laws impacting school districts have changed drastically at both the Federal and State levels of government. We
provide legal counsel to school districts regarding a wide range of issues that impact their operations including compliance
with frequently changing Federal and State laws. For example, we assist school districts in complying
with the provisions of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA 2004) and No Child Left Behind.
Furthermore, we advise school districts about new school construction issues and employment matters. In addition, we
counsel school districts on the constitutional and administrative law issues that uniquely impact schools. Bolstered by
decades of experience, our School Law group provides timely and sophisticated advice to school districts about a variety
of school law topics and issues.
