Kim
Roam
Kim is the Managing Partner of the firm. He practices
mainly in the areas of business, corporate, real estate, school, fire
protection and government law. His clients include developers, individual
property owners, partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies,
fire districts, and school districts. Kim creates contracts, partnership
agreements, employment and shareholder agreements, and other business
transaction documents.
Kim practices in all areas of real estate law. He is
regularly involved in preparing sales documents, conducting real estate
closings, drafting commercial and real estate sales agreements, pursuing
mechanic lien actions and boundary disputes, reviewing title work, and
assisting developers and contractors with municipal regulations.
Furthermore, Kim regularly appears before City Councils, Planning
Commissions, and other governmental boards. Kim's experience and background
allow him to advise clients concerning transactional and financial affairs.
Kim is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of MU. While in Law School,
he was a published member of the University
of Missouri Law Review.
He has served as president of the Blue Springs
Jaycees, as chairman of the Blue Springs
Chamber of Commerce, and as an active member and past president of the Blue Springs Rotary
Club. In 1995, Kim was recognized as the Blue Springs Citizen of the Year.
Kim has also been actively involved in the Grain Valley
community where he has served on the City Comprehensive Plan Committee and
as a member of the Grain
Valley Optimist Club.
In 2001, Kim and his wife, Debbi, were the recipients of Commerce Bank's
"Blue Springs
Community Service Award." In 2002, Kim was honored as the Truman
Heartland Foundation's "Grain
Valley Citizen of the
Year." Kim and his wife Debbi have two children, Caleb and Tess.
